I believe that organizations such as BPW are essential in the long journey to achieving equality for women around the world. The fact that we have a voice at the UN is important and significant because it is how we help to affect change albeit slowly. For this reason it is essential to maintain and succeed at attracting members. This we do when we apply our own philosophy of having true respect for the women around us who each have so much to offer.
